After confronting him, Ashlie is captured by Hunters and taken to an infamous holding facility: the Venor. When her brother is suspiciously captured soon after with a sketchy companion, they are pulled deeper into a conspiracy that is larger than any of them. Ashlie realizes after she finds a young girl with a dangerous cocktail of powers that the secrets of the Venor may be more horrifying than the outside world could comprehend.
